More About Family Formation

Family Formation is based on the Catechism of the Catholic Church, and rotates around the three-year Liturgical Cycle.  This draws families into the ebb and flow of the Church cycle and enables them to celebrate the seasons in a liturgical way.  Through a variety of hands-on teaching methods—games, activities, booklets, audio tapes, etc.—all the basic tenets of the faith are covered in the lessons.  A number of supplemental materials are also available which enhance various teachings and assist parents in their role as the primary educators of their children in the Faith.

This exciting approach has attracted the attention of families and parishes across the continent.  Family Formation is a tried and true model that offers hope for the future of catechesis and the promise of a new generation of strong Catholic families and well-grounded young people.  It is the answer to so many of the frustrations and shortcomings of current catechetical approaches.
