Peer Ministry Youth Ministry
Peer Ministry is a team comprised of confirmed teens, young adults, and adults. The team's purpose is to aid the youth program in fulfilling its mission statement. This team meets during the Wednesday night youth group as their own small group from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. The team receives the same formation as the Senior High youth group and uses the small group time to prepare for retreats and help in the planning of Senior High youth group. The team will learn skills in small group dynamics, drama, leadership development, team interaction, and much more!
What Is Peer Ministry
The Peer Ministry Team is a team comprised of confirmed teens , young adults, and adults. The teams purpose is to aid the youth program in fulfilling its mission statement to “Challenge young people to pursue a life of Spirit-filled holiness through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ within the community of the Catholic Church”.
This team meets during the Wednesday night youth group as their own small group from 7:00 to 9:00 PM.
The team will receive the same formation as the senior high youth group and use the small group time to prepare for retreats and help in the planning of senior high youth group. Throughout the year the team will learn skills in small group dynamics, drama, leadership development, team interaction, and much more!!!

Volunteer Opportunities
Team Leader(s):
Adult or team of adults to assist the youth minister in all aspects of this team and its ministry opportunities. Will be the small group leader for the Peer Ministry Team during Wednesday night youth group. Will be available and attentive to the teens as they minister to their peers.
Team Member:
Must be a confirmed teen or young adult and be available for Wednesday night youth group. Must want to serve your fellow teens in all aspects of youth ministry, focusing on retreats and Wednesday night youth group. There should be a willingness to share your faith and be a fool for Christ.
Training Advisor
Aid in the training of the Peer Ministry Team, both teens and adults. Topics include but are not limited to: testimonies, discipleship, evangelization, games and ice breakers.
Chaperone and Driver
Drive for various events and activities that this team is part of, such as, retreats or social events. Must be 21 years of age, with a good driving record, and have a the driving form on file with the youth office. Chaperones are the extra hands, feet, ears, and eyes it takes to run a really great retreat or activity for our teens.
