Our faith formation program for preschoolers (ages 3 and 4) consists of two facets which complement each other: "Little Lambs" and "Sunday Celebration." Together they form the foundation for a well-rounded understanding of the Catholic Faith for children of that age.

• A "Sunday Celebration" gathering at church (held once a month during Mass) allows the children to experience a lesson in a classroom setting. Each month, the session begins with praise and worship, prayer, and recitation of a memory verse. A visiting "saint" tells the story of his or her life. Bible story time, crafts, snack, and a periodic lesson in which the children learn about the special things used by the priest during Mass round out the 75 minutes of class time. Special activities throughout the liturgical year such as Stations of the Cross and a visit to the Adoration Chapel in May to recite a decade of the Rosary help children begin to understand the ChurchÕs liturgical year.
• The weekly Little Lambs lessons are provided to the parents and then completed at home during the weeks between the monthly gatherings. Lessons are easy for parents to use and provide everything needed to teach their young children the Catholic Faith.
