Family Health
The focus of the Family Health Ministry is on good health and the promotion of wellness and education rather than "hands on" physical care.
Mission of the Family Health Ministry
To improve the overall health of the parish community by focusing on the spiritual, emotional, mental and physical dimensions of the people it serves. This ministry addresses needs and identifies resources that nurture wellness involving individuals and families making them active partners in their health management.
"He sent them to proclaim the kingdom of God and to heal." (Luke 9:2)
"I came so that they might have life and have it more abundantly." (John 10:10)
Services
The Family Health Ministry is not a substitute for pastoral care, medical care, community health nursing or other social agencies, but rather works in partnership with these services.
