Childcare

COSP Childcare is dedicated to providing a structured, nurturing, Catholic environment for children (birth to age 10) whose parents are participanting in events or meetings at the parish..

Childcare is available during select events and meetings. Currently, it is not available during weekend Masses.


Structured activities will assist your child in knowing what to expect when he or she visits the Nursery and will also give you peace of mind, knowing that there is a consistency to your child's Childcare experience.

The first time your child visits Childcare, you will be asked to fill out a registration card including your name, cell number, and pertinent information about your child. For subsequent visits, simply check in at the Nursery Welcome Area.

Our Program
Free play is an important part of the Childcare experience. In addition, there may be coloring, simple crafts, story time, music, or a movie.  We may have snack and water at the table with a prayer of thanksgiving before eating. Weather permitting, some Childcare experiences will also include a time of supervised outdoor play.

Health and Safety

• Please keep your children home if they're not feeling well. A cough, fever, diarrhea, undiagnosed rash, discolored nasal discharge, or recent exposure to a communicable disease are all good reasons to stay home.
• We will be checking temperatures at the doors. Your child's temperature must be below 100.4 to be admitted.
• The Nursery area has been simplified to allow for easier cleaning, and will be sanitized by Childcare staff and volunteers between every use.
• If food and beverages are served, they will be in single-serve portions.
• All Childcare staff and volunteers have met the Safe Environment standards required by the Archdiocese of Saint Paul & Minneapolis.
