As a family friendly, evangelistic parish living out the spirit of Vatican II, our worship includes dynamic preaching and lively music in which all are invited to participate. At Mass you can expect to encounter Christ in an intimate and life-changing way as we offer our lives to God the Father, in unity with the Holy Spirit. You may want to bring a Bible to refer to during the Liturgy of the Word. You will also want to bring an open heart to receive God’s Love and Mercy!

Greeters and Ushers (Welcome Team)
Greeters provide a warm welcome to parishioners and visitors. Greeters serves the parishioners and visitors of the Church of Saint Paul by creating a welcoming environment where people feel seen, and a sense of belonging is fostered. Ushers serve by helping to seat parishioners before Mass, to helping direct people for communion, cleaning up after Mass, setting up extra chairs at Masses with increased attendance (such as Easter and Christmas), as well as other various duties. Both of these ministries are open to youth involvement. Serving on the Welcome Team is a great way for new members to meet people. Welcome Team Members arrive 20 minutes before scheduled Mass times and serve approximately once every three weeks.
Music
Music ministry is a vital part of our community at the Church of Saint Paul. As music ministers, we lead the congregation in divine worship, turning hearts to God through Spirit-filled music and praise that unites us as the Body of Christ and elevates our focus on the Eucharist. Before joining, an audition with the Director of Liturgy & Music is required. Our Music Ministry consists of four groups, each practicing 1-2 times per month. Each group is assigned to lead the music for all three weekend Masses one weekend per month.
Sound Technicians
Sound technicians play a crucial role in creating an engaging worship experience by ensuring that music and spoken elements are heard clearly and beautifully. Training is provided for this position, making it a great opportunity for those interested in technology and sound production. Join us in creating a joyful and uplifting atmosphere of worship!
Screen Operators
Screen Operators enhance our worship experience during Mass and special events. As a screen operator, you'll play a crucial role in displaying song lyrics, prayers, and other responses for the assembly. This position requires attention to detail and a willingness to learn, as training will be provided on our state-of-the-art equipment. Be part of a team that helps create a vibrant worship atmosphere for our community!
Altar Servers
Our Altar Server Ministry offers young men (ages 11-18) a unique opportunity to grow in faith and build lasting brotherhood. As they assist the priest and deacon during Mass, servers deepen their understanding of the liturgy and develop a spirit of service. We provide annual training in August, and servers typically assist at Mass once a month.
Rosary Leaders
Our Rosary Leaders help guide our community in prayer. Volunteers in this ministry take turns leading the Rosary before the Saturday 5:30 p.m. Mass or Sunday 8:30 a.m. Mass in the peaceful setting of the Adoration Chapel. This is a beautiful way to deepen your devotion to the Blessed Mother, foster a spirit of prayer, and encourage others to grow in their prayer life.
Sacristans
Being a sacristan is a wonderful way to grow in faith and love while serving the parish community. Sacristans help prepare the hosts, chalice, communion cups, wine, and other necessary items for the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass on weekends or weekdays. After Mass, they assist with cleaning and organizing the sacred vessels. This role is open to Confirmed members of the Church of Saint Paul, and sacristans typically serve once a month at a weekend Mass.
Liturgical Movement
Liturgical Movement is open to girls ages entering 6th grade by the Feast of Christ the King and turning 12 within the academic year who wish to participate in specific feast day Masses (about 6 times/year) using flags as an expression of worship and visually embodying the Holy Spirit's dynamic presence among our community.
Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion
Bring the presence of Jesus to our community in a deeply personal and impactful way. Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion must have been members of the Church of Saint Paul for at least one year, be in good standing with the Catholic Church, and commit to a weekly Holy Hour (Adoration). Ministers distribute the Body and Blood of Christ at Mass about once every three weeks.
